Dear Mr. Cohen,

Last weekend I attended the Prophet's Conference in Sedona , AZ on the topic of “Orbs: What is Going On?” I photographed one of the conference's shamanic dancers up against the red rocks. The below vision of a radically new ecological city--arcology-came to me as she raised the sacred feathers to build an invisible bridge between nature and the urban landscape. An hour before, I had picked up a copy of the recent issue of Enlightenment Magazine. I picked it up because I felt like the woman on the cover illustration who was glimpsing the new city from the sacred red rocks. I came to Sedona on my quest to find utopia, and there it was in print in front of me at the whole foods supermarket. The city in the illustration even had several orbs coming from it!

I believe it is possible that conscious evolution could guide us to the way to build radically new cities of our collective imagination. I'm interest in interviewing you about your insights into utopia for a documentary video I am doing with my partner Wayne Sumstine. Would you be interested in participating in this project?

I've read your web site and feel the urgency in your message. Creating a network of arcologies ecological cities—arcologies--could be a way to bring the collective intelligence together to overcome the global emergency of global warming. Such a magnanimous project could shift the archetype in architecture into building global sustainability, universal human rights, and world peace through a radically new car-free solar-powered ecocity design.

On your web site there is one article on green houses in the pattern of single family housing. Mr. Gore, in all due respects, isn't this simply not enough vision to meet the needs of our time? If you are correct in your documentary film that global warming could make 100,000 million people into refugees, don't we need a massive new building program to divert such a disaster as well as to restore our balance with nature?
